My dad can’t understand of why I would choose a path to death over the path to life, or what he views and believes to be a way to “life”. If I told the reason why he’d slap me and try to get me to think “rationally”. Yes most people instinctively choose the ladder, because really no wants to die (unless extreme circumstances occur). My dad has always been a brute kind of person, and we’ve never seen eye to eye. C’est la vie, some things just can’t be changed. My real reason for the choice I made would break his heart, because I know the feeling will never change. There’s nothing he could have done to change it. So it’s my choice, I’m even sure that God understands why.
